Determine your current Power-CRM version

To determine whether your organization had this update applied, check your Power-CRM Solution version number. NOTE: A user with the Admin role is required to perform these steps.

In Power-CRM, click the cog icon in the upper right area of the screen:

Click Advanced Settings

Then click the Settings drop-down, select Solutions:

Locate the Power-CRM solution, note the version:

  • On Accounts with a Type of Prospect, despite satisfying the conditions for Prospect Tracking Initial Follow Up being performed, an automated email was still sent out, saying that the initial follow up had not been completed.
  • Some entities and fields had duplicate display names causing export templates to fail.
  • The Primary Contact was not visible in contacts lookup for an opportunity.
  • The timeline view did not show status of activities.
  • Unable to import a .csv file to Opportunities due to a plugin failure.
  • On Account, even after being disqualified, the disqualify button remained.
  • On Opportunity, the Contact field stayed populated after the Account field had been cleared.
  • The All Lost Opportunities View showed ALL opportunities.
  • On Opportunity, the Competitor field label was misspelled.
  • When a Phone Call record was created from the Schedule Follow Up? feature, the date and time wasn’t set.
  • When a Phone Call record was created from the Schedule Follow Up? feature, the Regarding record wasn’t set to the same one as the original record.
  • On Phone Call, the Regarding field has been moved below the Call To field.
  • On Task, the Regarding field has been moved below the Subject field.
  • Adding a Competitor to more than one Account or Opportunity resulted in an error message.
  • On Account, switching the type from Prospect to Customer did not change the Business Process Flow.
  • When creating a new Account, the address fields did not display labels.
  • A new Sales Rep Dashboard has been added. The Sales Rep Dashboard contains:
    My Overdue Activities
    My Open Activities Due Today
    My Active Prospects
    My Open Opportunities
  • A new Sales Manager Dashboard has been added. The Sales Manager Dashboard contains:
    My Teams Activities
    My Teams Activities Due Today
    My Teams Prospects
    My Teams Opportunities
  • The Opportunity Won/Lost dialogue box has been improved for ease of use.
  • On Accounts with a Type of Prospect, a countdown timer has been added. The timer counts down to 0 from the time required for initial follow up. The timer stops when the first activity is logged.
  • On Account, the calculated fields Won Revenue, Lost Revenue and Open Revenue have been added.
  • On Account, add a field that captures when the Account Type changed from Prospect to a Customer. Note this field does not appear on the Account form.
  • On Opportunity, an Opportunity Close Date field has been added. The field automatically populates with the date and time the opportunity is closed.
  • Improved Filtering on Views – On all views, selecting filter on any column now includes many more filters (begins with, ends with, etc)
  • Date field filters added – When filtering a view column by a date field, many more filters have been added (Last X days/weeks/months/years, Older Than, etc.)
  • New Advanced Filter capability – Next to the local search box within any entity, an Advanced Filter function has been added. This is a modern UI based query function similar to Advanced Find
  • Search This View – Searching from a View now respects the current view. For example in the past, when you had a view selected (Won Opportunities), then entered data in the local search box, the view criteria would be ignored. Searching Opportunities with a Won Opportunities view selected would have displayed results from all opportunities (ignoring the view criteria). This enhancement allows you to search within a view.
  • View Selector (dropdown) Enhancements –
    • The dropdown is longer and wider to show more views, that aid browse and selection
      experiences.
    • Personal views are separated from system views and shown higher in the list.
    • View header and label highlighting styles promote quick discovery of views.
    • Pinning is made easier with better icon alignment.
  • Live Chat Integration – Integration has been added to Power-CRM for LiveChat, a leading chat tool. This first version of the integration offers the ability to utilize LiveChat to support your Power-CRM users. When in Power-CRM, a Chat Now widget is displayed in the lower right of the user interface. This feature requires a subscription to LiveChat – https://www.livechat.com/
  • User Guide – New link added to the side-bar navigation in Power-CRM that displays a user guide. This is under development so check back often for new content.
  • Release Notes – New link added to the side-bar navigation in Power-CRM that displays release notes.
